Where does Capt. Tony Frankland Inshore Fishing fish?
We fish the Tampa Bay area, including Tampa Bay, Old Tampa Bay.
What are the target fish?
Target fish include Redfish, Snook, Cobia, Crevalle Jack, Tarpon, The waters of Tampa Bay are home to some of the most sought after fish species in the country. The warm weather year round provides a habitat that is perfect for these inshore species to thrive in year round. While each species has a peak seasonality, the fishing in Tampa Bay is excellent year round. The one fish species that we target that has a narrower season is Tarpon. Tarpon are for the most part migratory fish so we will only see them in large numbers in Tampa Bay during certain times of the year. The best time of year to fish for Tarpon in Tampa Bay is between May and July.
